ABCs and Crib Tents

I know I've been slacking, especially with the photos. But I've decided I'll write blog entries anyway, even if I have no pictures to share.

Today we went to the Turtleback Zoo for C&S's friend's birthday party. They had a great time running around and seeing all the animals that until now only existed in their "bookies". I think Matt enjoyed it the most, though!

Other breaking news, Sarah can recite the entire alphabet. I'm not really sure how that happened, but we were in the car yesterday and I had a video playing for them in the back where the letters must have been flashing across the screen (I've never seen the video since I'm usually in the front). You'd think she was reciting the winning lottery numbers, that's how excited I was! So proud. Caleb chimed in with a letter or two. Mind you, I think he's the smart, silent type. He likes to surprise us with his new vocabulary while giving us the look like - what, you think Sarah's the only one with brains? Caleb's favorite word is cars. By far. Everything is cars, and it's spoken with this cute lisp that just melts me.

Oh, and Caleb escaped his crib the other day. Crib tent was promptly put up. They zig, we zag. I guess that's the way it goes.
